We have created a simple guide for the QGIS mapping software for those not familiar with such software. These documents are in PDF format. You could view it online or download a copy to your computer.
In these guide we only discuss basic features in the software that is needed for digitizing the electoral maps. The software itself have much more powerful and have many plugins to help you with mapping and digitizing needs.
We leave it to you to explore those features. There is a forum on QGIS where you could ask for assistance. Visit them at www.qgis.org
